Day one opens with an inaugural ceremony that will be presided over by H.E. Prof Mohammed Belhocine, Commissioner for the Education, Science, Technology, and Innovation Department of the AUC.”
Sessions on Day 1 will focus on gender-responsive policies and progress made by different Member States to ensure gender responsiveness in education policies. Day 1 will convene high-level personalities including ministers, heads of international organisations, and representatives of CSOs around the AU CIEFFA 8th High-Level Dialogue on the theme, “Fostering gender responsive Education policies through the #AEH Campaign for inclusive and resilient education systems for women and girls”.
Parallel sessions will provide platforms for stakeholders in the fields of education and gender to explore deeper issues in relation to policy development and policy reforms to foster gender in and through education.
