Registration
All participants intending to participate in-person or virtually are required to register online through the following link: https://aupancoged.org/fr/register/
- There is no registration fees for the conference.
- The deadline for registration is on 14 th June 2024.
Participants
The African Union PANCOGEd1 will welcome more than 300 participants from African Union Ministries of Education, skills development, Gender and social development; policy makers, development partners, UN Agencies, experts, African Union Organs, donors, youth networks, traditional and religious leaders, and Civil Society actors at the intersections of gender, education and social protection.
Conference venue
The Conference will be held at the African Union Commission Headquarters. During the conference’s four days, plenary sessions will be held at the Medium Conference Hall in the New Conference Center. Side events will be held in the following meeting rooms: Medium CH, Small CH 1, 2 & 3. Side events will be held in the afternoon and plenary sessions in the morning. Conference Badge collection will start on the 2nd july at 7.30 on theĀ desk in front of the Mandela Hall (New Building).
Interpretation
Simultaneous interpretation in French and English will be available.
Sponsored and self-sponsored participants
In-person participants are advised to reach Addis Ababa a day before the conference, and
to stay until the last day of the conference.
- If you are sponsored by the African union CIEFFA, the team will liaise with you to
arrange your participation. Your round-trip flight ticket, hotel accommodation, and
DSA will be covered. Keep your Boarding passes, and surrender them to AU
CIEFFA upon instruction. - If you are a participant sponsored by other partners, you will receive sponsorship as
per the guidelines of the respective sponsor. The sponsoring organizations will be in
touch with you directly to provide more details on the sponsorship process and the
required documents.If you are a self-sponsored participant, you are expected to cover your visa fees,
flight ticket, accommodation, and any other fees necessary for your participation
(vaccinations i.e. yellow fever).
There is no participation fees for the conference. Lunch, refreshments, and water will be
provided during the conference days at the venue.
